Is my Easyfit surface fire retardant?

Easyfit Stone Standard stone is fire rated at B and is CE approved. Easyfit Stone fire retardant is designed for cooker back splashes, fire surrounds and commercial applications.

How flexible is the Easyfit Stone and Concrete?

• Easyfit Stone Standard is flexible to 19 degrees.
• Easyfit Stone Ultrathin 1mm thick is flexible to 90 degrees when warmed.
• Easyfit Concrete on a Roll is flexible to 90 degrees when warmed.

Will my Easyfit surface change colour over time?

The stone is a natural product and will lighten with UV rays if not correctly sealed.

INSTALLATION & CLEANING

How do I install my Easyfit surface?

The Easyfit Stone can be installed with a suitable adhesive to almost any flat surface, we recommend Soudal Fix All a flexible semi contact adhesive.

Easyfit Concrete on a Roll comes is supplied with a paste to be mixed into an adhesive for dry applications, for wet we recommend Styccobond F49.

Easyfit Bamboo boards are installed with AZ brackets or battens, double sided tape or adhesive.

Do I have to warm the concrete before unrolling?

Yes, it is important that the concrete is kept at room temperature and warmed slightly to unroll, not just in room temperature.

How do I cut my Easyfit surface?

Easyfit Stone can be cut with a jigsaw, tile cutter, diamond blade tile cutter.

Easyfit Concrete on a Roll can be simply cut with a blade.

Is there a joint line between sheets Easyfit Stone or Concrete?

You will see a thick wallpaper line between the sheets, you can embrace the join and leave a 2mm gap and use the paste or but up and blend the join paste over. You must use masking tape on the stone before applying the joint paste as to not to mark the stone.

How do you finish the edges of the surface?

External edging – apply the small edge first them over lap the large edge by 2mm, masking tape the edges then sand, joint fill can be used for any gaps.

Internal edging – butt the edges up and run a sealant down in the shower.

Does my Easyfit surface require a sealant?

The surfaces are 100% real stone which is naturally porous to oils, grease and limescale. We recommend Aquatect stone sealant. Always do a patch test with any sealant to make sure it does not change the colour of the stone.

Bathrooms and kitchens may need resealing yearly.

How do I clean my Easyfit surface?

Pre-sealed stone can be cleaned with soap and water, after sealing mild detergents and stone cleaners can be used.

Is my Easyfit surface waterproof and can it be used in Showers?

Yes, it is waterproof however we recommend protecting it against Limescale and oils.

Can I use my Easyfit surface outside?

You can use the stone on walls externally, however it will need to be protected with sealants.

How are items shipped?

Shipping methods are dependent on the size of products ordered, we use DPD for small orders, our own transport for large stone sheets and Pallet couriers for Bamboo and Large concrete orders.

What are the lead times?

Lead times are dependant on products ordered. Smaller orders are dispatched via DPD on a 1-2 day service. Large Easyfit Stone sheets are dispatched within 1-7 working days. Bamboo 2-3 weeks, Concrete 2-3 weeks.

Do you ship internationally?

We can ship internationally, please contact us for a quote.

How will my product be packaged?

Easyfit Stone sheets will be kept flat and protected by ply boards. Concrete is rolled and individually boxed. Bamboo is layed flat on pallets.

My order was damaged in transit, what do I do?

We take great care and every step to ensure our products are protectively packaged however if your order was recieved damaged, please contact us and we will arrange a replacement to be sent as soon as possible and have the damaged items uplifted.

Are products available to collect?

Some products are available to collect from our offices and factories at no cost, please contact us to arrange this.

What is the returns policy?

Should you wish to return the items we will refund the cost of the product less the transport cost for delivery and collection.

How do I cancel or change my order?

Should you wish to cancel or change your order, please contact us immediately and we will do everything to accommodate you.

Do I need to make an account to place an order

No, however we would recommend making an account to keep track of your order

What payment methods are available?

QLA Interiors use PayPal, which accepts the following payment methods:

Debit cards (also known as bank cards) are accepted if they have a Visa or MasterCard logo.

Is buying online safe?

QLA Interiors has a valid SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate installed on the website, this can be viewed by pressing the padlock icon on the left of the website URL.

SSL is one of the standard security protocols used by millions for establishing an encrypted connection between a web browser and a web server while preventing cybercriminals from reading and modifying any transaction done between them such as the transmission of sensitive information like credit card while doing online shopping.
